Richiamo Fortezza

A unique work by William C. Stuart, Richiamo Fortezza pairs a volcanic stone from Catamarca atop a base formed from a single continuous length of steel wire, wrapped and welded into an expressive, self-supporting structure. The gestural quality of the wire contrasts with the ancient volcanic stone, creating a quiet dialogue between movement and mass, delicacy and weight.

Richiamo is a series of unique pieces whose bases are composed entirely of one singular metal wire, woven and welded to itself.
