Shipping & Returns

1. Shipping Overview

All shipments are released at F.O.B. point of origin to the purchaser's carrier in new and good condition. Title and all risk of damage or loss transfers to the purchaser at that moment, and no responsibility for loading is assumed by Costantini.

Costantini is not responsible for damage incurred in loading, transit, or storage. Purchaser must provide the exact details of shipping arrangements on written order. If no carrier is designated, Costantini will use its best judgment in selecting a "best way" carrier on behalf of the purchaser, with no liability for such carrier.

2. Lead Times

Made-to-order pieces (Shop): Production lead times typically run between 2–24 weeks depending on the product, materials, and level of customization. Lead times are approximate and may run longer due to material availability or production scheduling. You will receive a production timeline upon order confirmation.

In-stock pieces (Quick Ship): Items listed under Quick Ship are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch. Transit times are typically 1–2 weeks depending on your location and selected carrier.

Shipping dates on any quotation or order acknowledgement are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are not included in product prices. All products are priced F.O.B. point of origin, which means shipping charges, local delivery, uncrating, installation, cartoning, packing, crating, and any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser. Shipping costs vary based on the size and weight of the piece, destination, and selected carrier. Contact us for a shipping estimate before placing your order.

4. Domestic & International Shipping

Domestic (United States): We ship to all 50 states. Most deliveries are made via white-glove freight carriers who specialize in fine furniture. Curbside delivery and inside delivery options may be available depending on your location.

International: We ship worldwide. International orders are subject to customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees, which are the responsibility of the purchaser. Costantini is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance. Contact us at info@costantinidesign.com for international shipping quotes and estimated timelines.

5. Packaging & Handling

All Costantini pieces are professionally packed and crated to ensure safe transit. Custom crating is built for each piece based on its dimensions and materials. Packaging is designed to protect the furniture during long-distance shipping, including international ocean freight when applicable.

6. Inspection & Damage Claims

Purchaser or their agent must thoroughly inspect all merchandise upon receipt. It is the purchaser's responsibility to:

• Note any visible damage to packaging at the time of receipt on the carrier's delivery receipt
• Photograph any damage to the packaging and product before signing for delivery
• File a damage claim with the carrier at the time of delivery or within the carrier's guidelines
• Notify Costantini by email at info@costantinidesign.com within 48 hours of receipt

Failure to inspect and document damage at the time of delivery may affect your ability to file a claim with the carrier.

7. Returns — Custom & Made-to-Order Items

Custom and made-to-order items are not eligible for returns. All custom orders are final upon written confirmation. A 25% service charge will be incurred for any standard line item canceled after production begins and only with prior written approval from Costantini. Custom orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.

8. Returns — In-Stock & Quick Ship Items

In-stock items may be returned within 48 hours of receipt and are subject to a 15% restocking fee unless otherwise agreed at the time of purchase. To initiate a return:

• Contact us via email at info@costantinidesign.com or by phone at +1.212.858.0603 within 48 hours of receipt
• Provide your invoice number, date of purchase, and reason for return
• Wait for written return authorization before shipping the item back

No returns will be accepted without prior written authorization. Authorized returns must be shipped in accordance with shipping instructions provided by Costantini. Unauthorized returned merchandise will not be accepted and will be returned to the shipper freight collect.

Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging. Costantini reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

9. Repairs & Replacements

Returned merchandise requiring repair of any kind may be subject to additional charges or full charges. Costantini is not liable for the cost of shipping for repairs and/or replacements. Replacement timelines will be similar to normal production lead times, which typically run between 2–24 weeks depending on the product.

10. Exchanges

Exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to exchange an in-stock item for a different finish, material, or size, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. The original item must be returned in its original condition and packaging, and the exchange is subject to availability and any price difference. Custom-ordered items are not eligible for exchanges.

11. Refund Process

Approved returns will be refunded to the original method of payment within 10–15 business days of Costantini receiving the returned item and confirming its condition. The 15% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

12. Material Samples

Material samples (leather, wood, stone, metal, etc.) are available for purchase through our Materials section. Sample orders are non-refundable. Samples are intended to represent our materials as accurately as possible, but natural variations in color, grain, and texture are inherent to handcrafted materials and should be expected in the final product.
