Théophane Ingold
Théophane Ingold is a French artist and craftsperson. His luminous compositions of hand-planed wood shavings reveal the hidden structure of wood: each curl is lifted from the plank by hand, then gathered into totems, columns and pendant lamps that hold the light within.
Known for his Wonderful Shavings series, he works with offcuts and with what the making process leaves behind. Costantini represents his work, including the Shavings Totem, Shavings Column and Shavings Sphere.
