Morimoto Waikiki
Costantini was first hired to make the communal dining table for Iron Chef Morimoto’s restaurant in Waikiki, in what would be the first Edition Hotel by Ian Schrager. This led to a suite of custom items including tables and seating out of leather, wood, acrylic and, of course, iron. We also developed a custom version of their Bruno Chair and Stool that we would exhibit in Milan.
The property would soon rebrand to become The Modern Honolulu. This would be the first of what would lead to several collaborations with the famed chef.
