The Argilla Table is composed of slender wooden slats, evenly spaced and suspended by a concealed internal frame. Subtle non-cast metal spacers punctuate the composition, preventing the slats from touching and adding a quiet tension. At each corner, polished metal accents provide definition and structure. Its name (Argilla, Italian for “clay”) refers to the material founder William C Stuart used to sculpt the original form for his debut exposition for Salone de Mobile in Milan, 2009.
