Costantini was invited by Champalimaud Design to develop custom tables and casegoods for the Presidential Suite at the Hotel Bel-Air.
The Work
Costantini Design presents this piece entirely upholstered in natural Shagreen leather.
The aniline dye finish allows the color to show through without obscuring its characteristic pearly texture.
Benone Table
Cast bronze bases, retaining a partial polish that exposes the organic texture of the casting process. .
This finish contrasts with the top surface, an oval lid with a smooth finish.

Located in a private enclave in Los Angeles, the Hotel Bel-Air is defined by its low-density architecture and twelve acres of gardens.
It is a five-star hotel with a strictly residential character, where privacy and human scale are central to the design.
