This cocktail table doubles as a functioning backgammon board, crafted from ebonized Argentine Rosewood with an inlay of genuine Ebony and Birdseye Maple. It features a removable tray for cocktails during gameplay, as well as a drawer for dice, chips, or additional serving space.The base draws inspiration from ancient Mesopotamian headrests (referencing the birthplace of backgammon). Originally designed by Costantini founder William C Stuart for Goodman’s Bar at Bergdorf Goodman’s men’s lounge in Manhattan.
